User-provided Information. When you use Hasselblad Products and Services, you may provide us with information about you, including your name, email address, mailing address, mobile phone number, and payment information (if you use Hasselblad Products and Services to engage in purchases or financial transactions). You may provide us with information in various ways when using Hasselblad Products and Services. For example, you provide us with information when you register for a Hasselblad account, place an order with Hasselblad’s online store, or send us customer service-related requests by email or other means of communication.

This information is gathered from all users, and may be connected with other information about you.

When you use Hasselblad Products and Services, such as registering your Hasselblad product or requesting customer services, you may provide us with information relating to your Hasselblad Product or Service. This information include information about your Hasselblad device (including the model and serial number of your device).


Information from Other Sources. We may obtain information from third parties and sources other than Hasselblad Products and Services, such as our business partners, contractors, advertisers, and other third parties.


How We Use the Information We Collect. We use information we collect through Hasselblad Products and Services in a variety of ways in providing the Hasselblad Products and Services and operating our business, including the following:

We use the information that we collect through Hasselblad Products and Services to operate, maintain, enhance and provide features of the Hasselblad Products and Services, to verify and manage Hasselblad user accounts, to provide services and information that you request, to respond to comments and questions and otherwise to provide support to users, and to process and deliver entries and rewards in connection with promotions that may be offered from time to time by Hasselblad.


We use the information that we collect through Hasselblad Products and Services to understand and analyze the usage trends and preferences of our users, to improve the Hasselblad Products and Services, and to develop new products, services, features, and functionality.

Information about our users, including information you provided and any information collected through Hasselblad Products and Services, may be disclosed and otherwise communicated to an acquirer, successor, or assignee as part of any merger, acquisition, debt financing, sale of assets, or similar transaction, or in the event of an insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership in which information is transferred to one or more third parties as one of our business assets.


We may make certain aggregated, de-identified, or non-identifying information about users of Hasselblad Products and Services available to third parties for various purposes, including (i) compliance with various reporting obligations; (ii) for business or marketing purposes; (iii) product safety analysis; or (iv) to assist such parties in understanding our users’ interests, habits, and usage patterns for certain programs, content, services, advertisements, promotions, and/or functionality of Hasselblad Products and Services.

Your Rights and Choices

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request access to and receive information about the information we maintain about you, update or correct inaccuracies in the information we maintain about you, and have the information blocked or deleted, as appropriate. Your right to access information we maintain about you may be limited under local law. You also have the right to object to the processing of your information or to withdraw your consent to our processing of information about you, including to the transfer of information to other countries. Note, however, that if you exercise your right to object or your rights of blocking or deletion, if you decline to share certain information with us, or if you withdraw your consent to our processing of information about you, we may not be able to provide to you some of the features and functionality of Hasselblad Products and Services.

You may update, correct, or delete certain Hasselblad account information and preferences by accessing your account preferences page, available through certain Hasselblad Products and Services, including the hasselblad.com. If you wish to access or amend any other information we hold about you, you may contact us at customersupport@hasselblad.com. Likewise, if you close your Hasselblad account, you will not be able to sign in to Hasselblad Products or Services or access any of your information. However, you can open a new account at any time. Please note that while any changes you make will be reflected in active user databases within a reasonable period of time, we may retain all information you submit, as authorized under applicable law, for backups, archiving, prevention of fraud and abuse, analytics, satisfaction of legal obligations, or where we otherwise reasonably believe that we have a legitimate reason to do so. In addition, if certain information has already been provided to third parties as described in this Privacy Policy, retention of that information will be subject to those third parties’ policies.

If you receive commercial email or text messages from us, you may unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions contained within the email or text message. You may also opt out from receiving commercial email or text messages from us by sending your request to us by email at ccustomersupport@hasselblad.com.

We use Google Analytics to collect and process certain analytics data; Google provides some additional privacy options described at www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/.

Third-Party Services

Hasselblad Products and Services may contain features or links to websites and services provided by third parties. Any information you provide on third-party sites or services is provided directly to the operators of such services and is subject to those operators’ policies, if any, governing privacy and security, even if accessed through Hasselblad Products and Services. We are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of third-party sites or services to which links or access are provided through Hasselblad Products and Services.

Children’s Privacy

Hasselblad Products and Services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13 without obtaining parental consent.

Data Security

We use certain physical, organizational, and technical safeguards that are designed to improve the integrity and security of information that we collect and maintain. Please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable and thus we cannot and do not guarantee that your information will not be accessed, viewed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or organizational safeguards.

International Visitors and Users

Hasselblad Products and Services connect to servers hosted in the United States and China. If you choose to use Hasselblad Products and Services from the European Union or other regions of the world, then please note that you may be transferring your information outside of those regions for storage and processing. Also, we may transfer your data from the EU, U.S., and China to other countries or regions in connection with storage and processing of data, fulfilling your requests, and providing the services associated with Hasselblad Products and Services.
